Drawing Inspiration: Invitations sent

The final invitations for the Private View of Drawing Inspiration should by now have gone out. If one or two have been missed out then they are statistical anomalies; that is my story and I am sticking to it. I have invited several interlinked sets of people. There are those who have shown an interest in my art, either by buying or by critiquing, there are those who have given me good advice, there are those who have given me interesting advice, which is close to the same thing, but not quite. There are people who knew me some time back and are not surprised that I am an artist, and there are a few who wanted to know if I painted knives and explosions. (Answer: no, but I can, quite convincingly.)

I am grateful to everyone who has helped me to get this far. Some have already been mentioned in this blog, others are on twitter or connected to me by that most ephemeral of worlds, the real one. But officially now, the Show is a Go. I took more things to the framer’s today. I have enough for a whole wall full of charcoal, and I need to think about what not to put there instead.
