Cezanne’s Forest: Day 4

This was another cold day at the office, during which I sat out at the front and kept the shop open instead of vanishing to shiver. Being unable to see sunlight, I painted it instead. The bright colours on the right got ramped up, starting with the bright trees, painted in a translucent yellow to allow the pale canvas to shine through. I worked a bit on the darker areas to the left as well, but the patch with two very slim trees is my favourite part of the canvas. This shows it halfway developed.
