Allegro – brief aside

A few weeks ago I discovered that the Allegro paint surface was cracking, because of one of the paints I had used, Michael Harding’s King’s Blue Deep.

Sometimes, shit happens. I went over the sky with a different blue, keeping the mixture oily, and I’m hoping that will deal with it. I looked yesterday, and the cracking was not visible, so I think it’s been patched. I’ll tell the client at handover, and if there’s a problem within the first year, I’ll deal with it or replace it.
