The Cambridge Art Salon

The Cambridge Art Salon (see links), where I have my studio, opens officially on 14th September. I spent much of today getting covered with paint of a sort I do not normally handle. However, I did get to use my acrylic gesso brush for emulsion, and I learned that there is very little pigment in commercial house paint. I also learned that gloss dries faster than oil paint by a long way, but that this does not help much when people brush against it after an hour.

We have a sign. We have white walls, and a hanging system. We have a huge number of embodied hours in the walls and in the planned party. I am exhausted today, but looking forward to next week.
